The first 2 seasons are superb! Unfortunately after that, one cannot learn without paying (and paying what I consider a very high amount) for “extended versions” of the lessons. All the grammar and sentence structure, and line-by-line translations, are in the paid version. I muddled through S3, frustrated throughout, and gave up when I discovered S4 was the same. Such a shame, as I thoroughly enjoyed the first two seasons and learned so much.

Can’t believe I wasted so much money on Babbel which actually taught me incorrect sayings I figured out when saying them in France (never explained the fem/masc difference). This podcast is so informational, so educational, easy and clear. Highly recommend.

I used to know French well but haven’t really spoken it in 30 years. In anticipation of a vacation I’m using this to refresh on basic items, such as directions and ordering (season 1) as well as listening to longer stretches of French (season 9).
It’s quite good. However, I noticed that in episodes 15 and 16 of season one, the young woman in the episode consistently mispronounces “pour” but is not being corrected. If you rely on these episodes alone, you will speak incorrectly. It’s a small item that doesn’t stop me from rating it highly.
