Chris is a nice guy and there is good content here. But he is a HORRIBLE interviewer. Every single episode I would swear he talks more than his guests. He feels like he needs to share HIS story again if they don’t know it. This would would be fine for a conversation. But for podcast listener, it means you have to sit through him saying the same things over again and again and again. If you have read his books, expect to hear all that that content again revisited in each podcasts.
Again, this is fine if you are new to his work, but makes it painful for people who know his story well.
What Chris needs to do is let his guest talk 85% of the time. He needs to ask questions, and then think of relevant questions to ask next instead of related stories to share. Each podcast would have much more unique content.
At the VERY end he might share some thoughts about how his experience overlaps with the guests for something. But he needs to realize his audience knows his story. He does not need to keep repeating it.
If he did that this podcast would be five stars.
The only other thing I would share is that Chris does not seem to realize some of the unique circumstances facing stage four disease with certain aggressive mutations. At least it does not come out in his material.
This is really a completely different animal than stage 3. And some stage fours are far worse than others. I think it would be good for him to interview integrative doctors dealing with stage 4 disease, as well as have a lot more guests that are stage 4 disease free for five years or more.
But the main thing that would help if he stopped interrupting the guests with his own stories and viewpoints.

This podcast channel is one of my favorites. It dives into topics that will really make a difference in your life. I am not sick, but love the information. I have learned so much and grateful for it. Most of all, in this world full of broken health systems, it gives me hope and positivity. Thank you Chris!
