As one of the few female listeners of Broken Sim, I have to say this podcast is an absolute gem! Johnny Woodard and Sam Tripoli have such fantastic chemistry, and their banter makes every episode wildly entertaining. Whether they’re diving into hilarious personal stories, or just the randomness of life, I’m always hooked from start to finish. If you’re looking for a podcast that keeps you laughing and feels like you’re just kickin’ it with homies, this is the show for you.

Usually a great show.
Last episode (127) was a difficult listen, however. Occasionally theyll have a skippable episode like this one.
( about 40 minutes in johnny was fragmented/half in & half out. No topics were completed, just started. Sam’s mic had some rough mouth noises coming through with constant shuffling/twitching noises stacked on top of it, further screwing up the audio. )
The in-studio episodes have some great takes on topics & professional editing.

I started listening to this based on the “Tin Foil Hat podcast.” They don’t have guests as they do on the aforementioned podcast so it’s much more casual. It’s as if you’re hanging out with friends chatting about the week and what happened in the news.
I find the main podcast more essential as it has introduced me to researchers and certain topics.
However, this podcast is enjoyable due to Sam’s manic energy, contrasted with Johnny’s nerdy vibe as they sum up their week and provide their takes on current events.
