Very laid back and easy to listen to. Very informational and I always look forward to hearing from them weekly or so.

Goolsby is a rising star in the podcast game. There’s a reason they call him The Great One. Lou’s ND Football memory is the best in the biz and helps set up Gools nicely. Singer adds solid ad reads and helps to bring Mike back on topic during his hilarious rants.

Always informative and entertaining—a must listen for any ND diehard. Love the hosts, guest interviews, and feel.

Don’t really get some of the bad reviews. Not sure if it’s just homers for some of the other podcast or what. Really enjoy all of the contributors and their interactions with each other. You can tell Mike Singer puts alot of time into his work. What really drew me into Blue and Gold was the Mike Goolsby Show. I always liked him as a player and I told my wife the show had become my group therapy for Notre Dame football. Appreciate Tim Hyde’s insight as well. Great podcasts and I always look forward to a new episode. Keep up the great work B&G!

I’ve been a fan of BGI for 5+ years now and haven’t missed an episode since the start of my subscription. Back to the Driskell and Lou days which I know most listeners do not miss. Since then, I’ve noticed a consistent decline in production and content of the podcast. Mike Singer has turned around to be a solid host, Patrick Engel has turned out to be a better hire than expected and Mike Goolsby gives listeners a different look at ND Football having being an ex-domer.
With that said, Mike Singer shows no compassion or appreciation for the BGI followers and Goolsby consistently communicates with a sense of entitlement, even more than Bryan Driskell which is hard to imagine. I wish you Lou the best of luck with this group, he’s the only good one left. Most ND fans ask for good podcast recommendations and BGI is officially off my list. Best of luck!

Brian Driscoll is the reason I gave up listening to BGI. Upon his departure I gave this show another go. Unfortunately, it’s just not worth it anymore when there are so many other great ND podcasts. It was a bright spot when Goolsby was not in the past couple of weeks, but his return makes this show not worth it. His arrogant demeanor, lack of substantive insight, and repeated insertion of his own political comments (I listen to stuff like this to get a break from politics) are enough to unsubscribe.
