Better Days Ahead

by Dr. Aria Young

Dr. Aria Young discusses topics of mental health, trauma and the journey of healing - the aspects of life we don't talk about or feel like no one understands. As a doctor herself, Dr. Young understands the stigma of these topics not only in the medical field but also on a personal level. She hopes to shed light on them in an effort to show no matter what you may be going through, you are never alone, and no matter how defeating the past or current days may seem, there are always Better Days Ahead. What listeners say

A curated, balanced selection of Apple Podcasts reviews.

I started listening to this podcast on Episode 19, and was so intrigued that I have been bingeing this podcast from Episode 1. It truly has helped me to understand that the struggles I’m experiencing with my mental health and improving my life are common, and that I’m really not alone! Several helpful tools, and different things to try have been discussed. I love this podcast because prior to this even with therapy I felt very alone and that I was doing things wrong! While listening I’m reassured that I’m not alone, and that this process is different for everyone!

Dr. Aria has a good thing going here. It’s a start, moving an audience from tiktok and instagram into the podcast space. Most recently I listened to the episode in grief. It speaks to a shared human experience. She talks not just as a medical person, but as a person. Sharing her struggles and vulnerability. Speaking into the void of her microphone unknowing who might be listening in hopes it helps that listener understand that shared human experience.
