I’ve been listening to this podcast for years, and I’ve been to two of their life shows. There are truly no two people in the world that make me feel as seen, and as comforted as these two. Any podcasts I loved before (and still love) were very cut and dry, straight to the point, all business true crime podcasts. But I ultimately realized—without really realizing—that they were sometimes a bit too heavy for me in this world that already has enough uncertainty and darkness. The levity and the realness that this podcast brings allows me to still listen to my ideal genre of podcast, but still feel uplifted in a sense. And the banter has actually become my favorite part. It’s like the relief at the beginning of the week to catch up with two friends and get all my stressors off my chest.
No notes. Please don’t ever change.💕✨🫶🏾

I’m sure this feedback might be met with frustration or dismissed, as Em has been vocal about being annoyed when people give this feedback but Em, I feel it’s worth addressing. Having ADHD can be incredibly challenging, and interrupting others is a common symptom. However, it’s important to work on managing this habit.

When Christine is mid-sentence, you often interrupt her, and when she tries to finish her thought, you speak louder and faster to ensure your point is made. While occasional interruptions happen, doing so repeatedly can overshadow her contributions, especially when listeners are invested in hearing her perspective.

This seems to have been a recurring issue since the start of the podcast, and while Christine may be too kind to bring it up, I hope you’ll take this as an opportunity to reflect and grow. Many of us love the dynamic between you two and want both of your voices to shine equally.

This show is a fun listen. I like their long banter, but I get it if you don’t. There are valid criticisms to be made, but I’m not seeing a lot of that in recent reviews. People out there are getting mad that two queer podcasters aren’t into *their* niche interest enough. Just find a podcast that is and maybe go take a deep breath outside then. They have no obligation to touch on your flavor of politics or religion, you silly geese.

TLDR; They tell each other creepy stories (responsibly). And tangents. And are funny. Any other expectation is on you.

The banter and how relatable yall are is what has kept me loving this show since 2021! You two get me through so much! I needed even more banter and random conversations, so I subscribed to Patreon too! My first ever Patreon!
Please don’t change who you are and how you do things 🫶

OG listener even a Patreon subscriber, used to love this show so much for a long time. They had such a good unique bestie vibe but these days idk its really lost its magic for me, painful spiraling of life updates and shaming and talking over each other it almost gives me anxiety to listen to, are they even still friends irl? Feels so tense always. Pls just bring back the fun spooky stories, history and lighthearted banter.. this show used to be an escape for me… now I just can’t get back into it (or even past the intro) bye atwwd, I’ll always remember the good ol days 😔

First, I absolutely LOVE when they actually get to their stories. What I don’t like is all the political talk and “here what’s wrong with me today” jabber. I understand that it is their show and they can do what they want but I use my podcasts to escape and I don’t constantly hear the complaining and the politics regardless of what side they are on.
