Each episode is so helpful to learn native speaker’s expressions used in everyday settings, which is difficult to learn in an English class and textbooks. I also learn American culture from your conversations. I am glad when I find such native expressions in TV shows and articles.
I am motivated very much by the episodes updated almost everyday.

Hi dear hosts, I am Mei from China. This is the first time I have ever reviewed a podcast. Normally I am just a quiet listener. But I really want to say thank you to your team. I have been following your program for 5 years, learning many useful English expressions that I have no chance to get from textbook. Such a fruitful experience!
And a small question for you:
I notice some of my foreign colleagues usually say “finger crossed” when they are hoping to see something good happen. Can you explain it a bit, and perhaps introduce some similar expressions? Thanks a lot.

First, there is too much advertisement. They will push on you their ads non-stop. Second, the authors are too woke. Almost every podcast comes with comments regarding COVID vaccines, DEI and such. If you want to get a podcast just about English, look somewhere else- American English podcast, Hadar Hemesh’s podcast just to name a few.
