I showed up for the main campaign; a creepy Old West exploration of deep terror and cosmic bloodlust with a surprising amount of heart. The keeper (or game runner for those not acquainted with Call of Cthulu) for the main campaign does a good job of emphasizing the absurdity and futility of existence in a world touched by the Eldritch. The episodes where Scott Dorward is keeper or has a player character are fantastic as well. Someday I’ll listen to the other short form campaigns but I love to hear Cuppycup and Scott together

I picked up Y’all of Cthulhu to listen to in my free time and the first season was a awesome experience. The setting for the game is crafted beautifully, the NPC’s are lively, and the horror aspect of Call of Cthulhu truly shines. You’re left with more questions than answers, and totally invested. Highly recommend giving the series a listen.

Started listening about a month ago when I heard a preview of your show on the Dark Dice Podcast and gotta say it has been an amazing experience listening to the backlog of episodes. Amazing storytelling, sound design and character involvement! Keep up the great work!

*UPDATE 7/22 below* The vibe of this show is excellent and scratches that creepy + western itch I didn’t know I had. I’m a big fan of TTRPG podcasts and Call of Cthulhu, in particular. This group does a great job of goofing without killing the aesthetic. The only negative is the podcast release schedule. I’d like more, please. Would highly recommend. Update: the show is still quality and I highly recommend it. However, the latest season is a bit overproduced. It’s slightly distracting and removes some of the improvisational/TTRPG feel. I still get cravings for this show, but it’s not an automatic download for me anymore.

I want to love this show, but it’s hard. The episodes seem so intermittent. The Blade Runner 6-episode series started a month and a half ago and we only have 3 episodes? That just doesn’t cut it. Great episodes, but a 2+ week wait each time? Nah.
