Super informative. Great balance of factual background and informed opinion on each M&A, showing that even the successful acquisitions have much more nuance than what is typically paid attention to. I've already recommended this podcast to a number of friends and family. If you're remotely interested in business or technology you will find this fascinating. Keep up the great work!

These guys deliver the facts about major movements in the tech industry, with the context necessary to understand the impact these transactions have on the industry and consumers. Hard to get that insight anywhere else, let alone in an entertaining medium. Love the banter, love the information and love the topics. These guys turn me into a tech insider, one episode at a time.

I have been listening to the podcast for about a year now and can't recommend it enough! The amount of research and effort that Ben and David put into each episode really shines through in their analysis. They also do a fantastic job keeping their Slack community engaging through conversations and relevant news posts. Ben & David are not afraid to try new formats and have even done a listener survey to get feedback from their community, which I think is awesome.
Acquired is one of those podcasts that makes me giddy everytime I see the new episode drop.

I came to this podcast to hear the Porsche story but couldn’t get through it due to all of the bad information. The hosts clearly didn’t do thorough research and if they actually read Excellence Was Expected they certainly didn’t retain the facts from it. I got as far as their incorrect claim that Porsche designed the 924 as a cheaper 911 alternative, which is completely wrong. They designed it under contract for VW and only made it a Porsche when VW backed out.

The histories are typically interesting and well produced but are far too laudatory of individual “brilliant men” while glazing over the human cost. Big, increasing numbers are often rattled off as if they are unequivocally good and the morally just results of good decisions.
